OriginalOriginal takes over in the expansive space formerly home to F/X. In fact, the original owner of F/X owns the store and has reinvigorated both the fashions on the racks and the look of the store. Original indeed.

This store's not too bad, but every time I go inside the sales staff borderline harasses me.... "HI how are you today??" "looking for some shoes??" "Where are you from??" in that over the top, follow you around the store until you just leave kind of way...

I disagree. I was in a month ago . Looking for a non traditional wedding dress. And Simone the owner was amazing . I would say out of all the shops I went to and I have been to them all. SHe was the best sales person I dealt with, not pushy , very excited about ideas for my dress. She was very patient. And she figured out exactly what type of dress would make me shine and suit my body type . She know 's her stuff.
So just remember its been tough this year for everyone . AND if you just want to browse say that . And that That. Go up stairs it is unbelievable what beautiful stuff they have .I was in dress heaven.

The staff probably "harass" you because "everytime" you've been there you never buy anything and browse for hours so the salespeople probably decided to "service" you till you leave since you never buy anyway.

I went in when it was F/X and i loved it but i recently went back to check it out again and i had a similar "harassment" experience. as soon as my friend and I walked in we didnt see anyone as if no one was working there but when we stated pointing out accessories and shoes we liked some guy ran up guessing our shoe sizes and exclaiming how they only had one pair left .. and only one left of pretty much everything we liked. anyways he was really annoying and we couldn't even shop so we left even though there was some stuff we wanted to get.

I saw a beautiful window and went in to Original yesterday. I found a spectacular collection of colourful, expressive clothing, shoes, and accessories. The staff were happy and accommodating and as adorable as the goods they merchandised. I never even made it upstairs. I think my eyes would have drooled, I just saw the pics online now. Yummy!

I went to the store couple of times but never visited second floor. Yesterday on my way home I decided to drop by and see if they had anything new. I ended up walking up the stair and ohhh my....it is a dress heaven, if I only knew that last year when I was shopping for a graduation and my friend's wedding ceremony. They probably have dresses for any taste; it is similar to "Want" and/or "Lemor" but way more options. Prices are similar to that of "Want" and/or Lemor(400 and up, but they have so many dresses that prices might be in any range (below and above). In addition, they have the most beautiful corsets I've seen in Toronto (which I compulsively bought). Staff was helpful and nice. No harassment, this was my first buy there and now I know where to go shopping for that dress that make me look beautiful and sexy.

I also had a harassmsment experience here, as soon as I walked in the staff was nice but then every time I picked up a pair of shoes, it was "oh yes those are our last pair of those"..it felt like they were trying to hard to make a sale so I walked out after five minuets
