This is for the one on Yonge -- I've never been to the Bathurst location. I'm sitting at home with 1/2 a cup of aloe vera on my scalp, knowing it's going to take at least 3 months to recover from my visit. 1/3 of my hair volume is now just stubble, ripped out of my scalp. My hairdresser Sun's response to me telling her that she was scratching the heck out of my head with her comb? "Sorry, sorry, sorry" while she yawned and stared out the window. I took off as soon as I could, and 3 days later, my scalp is still burning.

I've always been lucky to have really thick, healthy hair, and I take very good care of it. 1/2 an hour in Sun's chair and I've got limp, thin, stubbly hair with some 80s flyaway 'feathering' around the front that looks like split ends. Tacky, nasty, just terrible.

The woman working the front desk was nice, the other hairdressers there seemed personable and they took me as a walk-in. But really, that's all the good I can say about this place.

I just wanted to say thank u soooo much to kellie and all the staff thereno only i got an amazing hair cut by kellie but everyone was so nice. Plus just to know that every time u go there u know that u r gonna look awesome after, that has no price.

Queen location: Worst haircut I have ever received. Literally ran out and down the street to a competitor to beg them to help me fix the disaster MoSheTa left me with. Word on the street is I'm not the first to have needed another haircut to correct the tragic attempts at this place. My advice skip this salon and pay a bit extra for more reputable choices further west.

I decided to try out Mosheta on Queen St. after reading positive feedback online. However, my experience with this hair salon has ended in a big disappointment. A place that seemed friendly and progressive happened to be unprofessional and ignorant. The hair colour I got was wrong and the cut was shapeless and uneven. However, nobody cared! They didn't return my calls and the receptionist never let me talk to the hairstylist. I think she is a bit confused whether she works in customer service or in CIA protecting secret agents... I regret leaving a bit tip. Don't waste your time; there are plenty of better places in Toronto!

I've never had a bad experience at the queen location. The staff are friendly and personable. I'm actually super surprised at all the bad press people are giving them. This place is the best! Affordable and laid back. Loves it
