Walked by recently and it's all boarded up. I think they closed.

The Men's Salon in the Royal York is open for business and still offers all services such as manicures, facials and great haircuts. All of the staff are friendly and professional. They give you that 100% attention. Armando has been my barber for many years and I would go that extra mile to see him. Great place!

The recent renovations at the Men's Salon are completed and give the place a great overall feel. As always their professional level of care is absolutely the very best! Armando and his staff make getting a haircut "an experience in customer service" like seldom ever seen. I should know as I have been a customer for nearly 30 years... the last 10 while I have lived in Ottawa. The regular trip to Toronto to see Armando is an event I thoroughly enjoy!
Appreciative Client...

I visited the Men’s Salon right before the Christmas holiday and it was a complete disappointment. The woman that cut my hair never introduced herself. She didn’t smile and getting a conversation going with her was nearly impossible. She burnt my scalp TWICE with the blow dryer and had little remorse. I will never go there again and I warn anyone that is looking for a haircut in the financial district to stay far away.

I live in western Canada but am in Toronto for business every 4 to 6 weeks. I've started timing my business trips so that I go just in time for my next haircut. Katherine cuts my hair, and she's great with a razor.

Armando is a real pro who puts his own seal on his service, staff, and location. I also like how Shana cuts my hair, she knows my style and she is always open to have a nice conversation and treat me with a little massage. I only had a bad experience once with one old lady who uses eyeglasses, I guess she was having a bad day... she pulled my hair while cutting in several times, no conversation whatsoever, she was rough but the hair cut was fine, the experience though was not the same as it is always with Armando or Shana. Book your appointment and avoid the rough lady... ;-)
