Medulla & Co. is a salon and retail space near Trinity-Bellwoods where Charlie Boutique used to stand. Opened by Luis Pacheco of Yorkville's Hair on the Avenue , it offers environmentally conscious hair and beauty services (women's cuts starting at $65, men's at $35), using its exclusive line of TO112 products, which are made in Canada, SLS-, DEA- and paraben-free--and yes--even vegan. The retail portion of the space sells specially selected lifestyle items and fashion accessories, including beauty products, candles, perfumes, sunglasses and books. This may be the only place in the city where you can get your hair done and pick up a housewarming gift for a friend at the same time.
