LF Warehouse

Posted by Staff / Posted on December 17, 2009

LF WarehouseLF Warehouse can be found In an aging industrial park in North York. Their east end location sells a broad range of name frames at deep discounts, thanks mostly to the low overhead afforded by its out-of-the-way stores. Labels like Gucci, Prada, Tom Ford, Oliver Peoples and Martin & Martin can be got at clear-out prices for as little as $69, or as much as $400 for frames featuring titanium or gemstones.

If you're picky about your product - take a major pass on his store.

They save money by using cheaper lenses, which are visibly worse than what you'd get at the city's better stores. They screwed up the cutting on a pair of frameless glasses I bought there (horribly jagged edges), but tried to pass them off as perfectly fine and acceptable. Even after "fixing" the edges, they were still much worse than any other pair of glasses I've ever purchased (in both the cutting, and the clarity of the lens). Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for.

Have had several pairs of glasses from them over the years, and have had nothing but excellent service and great products. I have also used the big chains (Hakim, Lenscrafters, etc., and they are also good but much more expensive. Can't comment regarding the frameless glasses, as I have not purchased that type from them.

Bought frameless glasses there as well as at least another four pair of various perscription and non-persciption over the last several years. Never received anything other than the most courtesous, prompt and professional service. Brought in two pair at different times that I had cleverly sat on and they fixed them right away in just a few minutes at no charge. And the prices are the best around.

Have bought several pairs of glasses from LF and never had a problem. Good courteous service, great selection, good prices. As for lenses, I ordered Nikon lenses so Nikon is Nikon (you can see the Nikon name on the lense when it fogs), not sure what Moe is talking about.

My husband and I recently bought a couple pairs of frams from LF and are exteremly happy with the product and service. The cost for designer frames was much less than anywhere else we had looked and the service was above and beyond. They were fast in getting my prescription glasses ordered and sized and were prompt on calling me as soon as they were ready for pick up. I would recommend LF to anyone needing a pair of prescription or non-prescription glasses.

I ordered a bifocal glasses and I got the lenses incorrectly cut, I had to return the glasses and after a delay of two weeks I got new lenses that I could use. Beware, you might not get the best service. The glasses are nice but the price is not so affordable I would not recommend this store

I was surprised at how busy this store was, and I was also surprised about the price for bifocals. Same as normal retail optical outlets , over $400.

I bought two pairs of Rayban glasses one was Prescription sun glasses and the other Rayban Regular Glasses for the same price I was quoted at Hakim Optical for their house brand not designer glasses. That really shows you how great the prices are at LF Optical.Great service from Julia at the Bay street location I would recommend that location for sure!

Dufferin LF OPTICAL stay off this store. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Skinny tall lady full attitude with no experience to adjust frames. Lenses were cut wrong, pupil measurement wrong. Remember: cheep is expensive!!!
