For everyone in the market for flirty and flattering dresses, Huh should definitely be on your short list of places to shop. This little Queen West boutique is more than meets the eye. Many pieces look deceptively simple on the hanger, but try one on and you may never look at your body in quite the same way. Owner/designer Linh Diep, makes almost every garment in the store tirelessly by hand, three sizes for each piece; an assurance that you won't be inundated by the site of your dress on a multitude of others. All things to keep in mind as you eyeball the price tag.

The racks are sometimes brimming with wears and it can be a little disorientating; a deft merchandiser would be a great asset to Huh. Browse through all the racks and a great selection of styles and prints, to fit every taste, can be found. Aside from the dresses I was drawn to the knit pieces, the only garments the designer outsources for production, they are classic and yet very feminine. With an onsite work room alterations or quick fashion emergency fixes can be done on the spot.
In an effort to promote the local industry all the accessories sold in the store, from the handbags to the jewelery, are collected from Toronto designers. Diep, a tireless businesswoman, is often on hand and always ready with a friendly smile and helping hand.
