hos place torontoHo's Place is the go-to spot to get a cut in The Village. The team is quick, friendly and they know their stuff.

No line up and affordable prices, two things im a fan of. The staff was very friendly and the hair cut was what i hoped for. Ive had a hard time finding a barber since ive come to the city but now i can say this will be my new spot.

WORST CUT I EVER HAD? A woman with a two-tone mushroom cut ruined my hair hours before i started a new job. I always spell out SPECIFICALLY what i want when i go TO a new shop. I dont know what it is she thought she heard but she completely ignored my instructions. When i expressed my disappointment she tells me "I did my best." That may cut in other aspects of life but not with hair. If your mechanic did his "best" and managed to screw up your car would you give him another chance or tell him to find another line of work?

I have been to many barber shops in the GTA, and I honestly wanted to see why Ho's Place came in 2nd place. I came in and saw Philip. I thought there might be some difficulty explaining what I wanted exactly, but I was wrong,,, Philip knew exactly what I wanted and nailed it PERFECT. The length and taper I wanted along with a decent line-up w blade! Minimum wait time, fair price. I can say that I will be back for sure. Guess thats y it rated pretty high. I've been to 2 barber shops on the list, im gonna try em all...

Worst barbershop in toronto. A philiphine woman messed up with my hair. I dont know why blogto recommends this place.

As im new in TO ..just googled for any reviews on barber shops in downtown. As this place seemed nearer to my hotel thought to give a try ..its a normal shop ..should say decent for the price $17. And a woman attended to me ...i explained that my hair needs to be cut to medium lenghth at sides. She listened to me for 3mins and looked as she got what im saying.Then she asked me if its ok ..to cut the length to half(of existing). I said its fine.

In 2seconds she took a shaver and chopped off the full hair on sides !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As short as 1mm i could see the skin almost!!!!!!!!!

It would take 2months or more for me to have me normal indian hairstyle back !!

So guys be aware.

As i visited this place through this website ..thought this might help people like me.

I tried the shop just beside Ho's //Michaels ...though the shop is less tidy ..the barber was good...he did a decent job for 17$

You went to the wrong Ho's. There are two. You went to the one on Wellesley. The one to go to is the one on Church St.
