Groovy

Groovy
Groovy is one of Toronto's best sneaker stores. They carry stuff that's impossible to find elsewhere in Toronto. There's a good selection of Puma and Adidas sneakers; and there's also some clothing and sunglasses.

First of all they offer a fantastic selection. The staff was very polite, no pushiness, no attitude. I will definately shop here anytime ;)

Selection and politeness are key. And Groovy has both plenty!

Don't shop here. The owner is a complete psychopath who treats her employees, and her customers like crap. Staff is great, but the owner promotes bad customer service. For a store called groovy, it hardly lives up to it's name. You're better off going to getoutside up the street. Same shoes, lower prices.

Great service - they will order stuff in for you to try - no obligation - and they are very knowledgeable!

My worst experience ever...!!!

Lousy customer service and pathetic collection... I would never recommend this store to anyone and instead would encourage all to not waste your time going to this junkyard... I walked into this store to buy a pair of Converse after researching online (unfortunately some stupid website directed me to this store)... There was a guy and girl... Both junky looking... The guy was trying very hard to play music and impress the girl who kept laughing for no reason...

I ended up buying a pair for $60 only to find out the next day that the same shoes are on sale at Little Burgundy for $35... I was so excited and went back to Groovy to return the shoes when the wannabe DJ said "NO RETURNS"... WHAT DA xxxx... I could not believe this guy... I had owned the pair for just one day (spotless and still in the box with the receipt) and i had lost $25... And DJ emotionlessly tells me that we have not done refunds for 30 years... He looked like he was 14... Yes, I am openly bashing this store and the help there and the boss who kept calling because to make the $60 from me they have lost a lot of credit... If any one of you doesn't believe me, walk-in and try it out for yourself...

Good luck...
