Goa Hair SalonGoa Hair Salon is where to get your hair cut in Koreatown. While men have Gus The Other Barber women have this place where prices may not be quite as cheap but are lower than you'd find further east on Bloor.

this place overcharges non korean speakers, I went there and found out from my korean speaking friend i was overcharged $40.

service is horrible, they got hair dye on my cheeks. The place is swarming with flies and i overheard the lady tell the others to save my leftover hair dye to reuse.

I loved this place~ It's the cheapest place I've been too, I knew the price it was going to be...and that's what I paid... they are all really nice and I only speak English but I had no trouble communicating and getting exactly what I wanted :)

ii had bad experiences in goa. frist day i went to trim my hair n the owner told me that i should do ma roots touch up n she said its only $30 max but i hav no time to do it dat today so i went ther after two days. ther was a grl she told me at its $50 to do ma rootstouch up n i told her dat the owner told me its $30 last time but whn i ask the owner shes saying she didnt say anthing n i misunderstood her .i got mad n i didnt do ma roots dat day . but after few days later not even one week, i did ma roots ther thinking it was $50 but the owner n her daughter hanna or sumthing said its not $50 n thy charge me $70 n i had to giv thm $70.this is gnna be ma last visit at goa.most of thm doest speak english n ther always lie about the prices n ppl dun do ur hair ther without askign them da prices 1st cuz they always change their price by days.

I am not the type who writes reviews but my eyes are still puffy after last night's horrendous experience, i just thought i'd make a point that staff should pay more attention to customers before cutting hair. I've been getting my haircut here for a couple or three years now, 3-4 times yearly as my hair takes forever to grow, and have had no problems at all.

Except last night, when i told the girl that i wanted a trim and to get my side bangs back in shape. I even made a slanted salute sign to show her the length, she said yes. The most horrific thing anyone can imagine happened as she cut my bangs straight and above the eyebrows!!

I was even feeling bad for the girl as she looked really scared and said sorry. Unfortunately, another girl had to deal with me since the girl who cut my hair apparently "cannot speak good english". Don't take me wrong, as i have nothing against people with language barrier. But if a staff cannot understand what a customer wants, you don't just say "yes" when you're not sure what they mean!

I got ridiculously bad treatment and of course i didn't pay, but they shouldn't have treated me like garbage, esp after explaining and crying my eyes out that there's no way my bangs will grow back in less than 2 months for my wedding!! They could've at least apologized geniunely or offered something like bangs extensions or whatever-you-call-it. Instead, she just told me in a cold and rude manner "your hair is already cut, there's nothing we can do about it!"

Short straight bangs are not for everyone, especially if that's not what a customer asked for so don't be justifying that the cut looks good. No one (bride or not!) should have to go through such horrific experience because hair, like trust, once you cut can never be put back.
