Blue Tile Lounge is a skate shop on Dundas West near Dunbat Skatepark. They carry boards, clothing, footwear and other skate accessories.

They offer complete setups ($145 online price) and a wide range of skate decks ($55 to $90) from brands like Chocolate, DGK, FA, Girl, Habitat, Welcoime and their in-house brand Blue Tile. Wheels and trucks will set you back between $45 to $90.

Footwear ($60 to $145) from Vans, DC, Adidas, Nike, Converse, Lakai, DVS, Emericas and more are also available.

Skate DVDs and accessories ($2 to $100 and upwards) are pretty evenly spread and affordable depending on what you're looking for, whether it be some grip tape, wheel bearings, a copy of the Baker 3 DVD or a Thrasher skate-goat blanket and Death Lens Pro Kit.

Having first opened up as a skatepark back in 1997 and transitioned into a local shop at other locations before settling in Dundas West, Blue Tile Lounge has continued to be a core destination shop that skaters can trust, especially when it comes to all around product knowledge and hard goods like specific decks.

Blue Tile Lounge often helps out with providing spaces for video premieres and is involved with the Converse Cons Project which is an event that goes to different cities and gives back to those communities by holding different kinds of workshops on creating decks, building DIY skate structures and obstacles, and teaching kids how to film.
