Beauty Line Nail Spa (King West)

Posted by Staff / Posted on September 21, 2011

Beauty Line Nail SpaBeauty Line Nail Spa has two Toronto locations, but its King and Bathurst spa is the one that's particularly rave-worthy. While it's not unusually to find $30 mani/pedi deals at nail places around the city, Beauty Line's summer offering is a definite steal considering the quality of its treatments.

I went here for a manicure and pedicure once and thought it was pretty terrible. The polish was done without care and I was rushed in and out. Yes it is cheap - but there are other far better places to get a good value service. Plus the owner lady was scary and unfriendly. shame really.

I'm glad to see this place receive the attention it deserves! I have gone to Beauty Line several times and always enjoyed the pedicures I had, plus they lasted. They were also really great with my daughter who accompanied me once.

This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had.

My mother and I went for manicures and pedicures. The girl that was doing my mothers pedicure kicked her out of the chair so another client could be helped before she was even done painting my mothers toes. Talk about rude. She then asked my mother to sit on a dirty stool while she tried to sit on the floor and finish painting my mothers toes.

Needless to say we decided to not bother staying for the manicures. I decided to tell the manager that this was not acceptable service and that this was very rude. The manager then pretended she could not talk do to an extreme "pain" in her shoulder. I waited patiently for her dramatic "pain" to pass and then told her this was terrible service and under no circumstances should you kick a person out of the chair before your done. The manager did not care, and charged us full price for the sloppy pedicure and terrible service.

Aside from the service the place is dirty, unorganized and my pedicure chipped off in two days.

The WORST I have ever experienced.

Way to go Beautyline.

I got the best mani/pedi I have had in a long time. They have every colour under the sun and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I loved it.

The owner is rude, unfriendly, has her dog jumping around, barking and instead of creating a relaxing spa, its crowded, loud, everytime I got gel I had to go back with ina day or two to fix it. Worst experience ever.

I just had a gel set w/ a french manicure finished. Overall I am satisfied. By no means is it a spa experience but it is the service I went for and received.
Young did my nails, she was excellent. She took special considerations to ensure I received exactly what I had asked.
The owner's dog is cute but the barking can get irritating -over all the little guy is pretty well behaved. The owner came by and made sure I was happy.
The prices are fair and I was served immediately.
My only complaint is that it could have been a bit cleaner in there but it's the end of the night on a Saturday.

I went there to have my shellac removed, and just had a poor impression from the start. First off, there is no price list anywhere in the front area of the salon. Who knows if it's hidden somewhere in the back. But more importantly, this place is just filthy and does not appear to have sanitary conditions. The girl who works there sat me down at a table and there was visible dirt all over the surface. The girl doing my nails then pulls out a dirty towel from the drawer to place underneath my hands. I wasn't sure which was worse: the towel or the table. She then proceeds to dunk my fingers in the acetone, rather than wrap each finger individually. I've only experienced the latter from various salons and thought the dunking method felt lazy. When she was done, she then proceeded to toss the bowl of acetone outside, rather than disposing of it properly, or at the very least, inside the salon. She then handed the bowl to a colleague who used it on another customer. Again, no sanitation process. I wouldn't recommend this salon. Go elsewhere.

I had the worse pedicure in this place, they were careless and rushed in and out, the place is old and not clean, yes it's cheap but it's not that cheap it's an average price compared to other nail places. DON'T spend your money in this place, the WORSE
