Let's just say Spring is here and you could stand to loose some of that winter weight. What better way to get moving than to do a practice bug-out hike out of the city, sort of.
11:00 - Start
Queen St. Viaduct Bridge Bayview Ave Queen St E.
Just east of where King St and Queen St merge.
Look for the guys with backpacks
11:00 to approx 13:00 - Hike
North on the Lower Don River Trail.
13:00 - Archery
The Toronto Archery Range
Located at E. T. Seton park near Gateway Boulevard and Don Mills Road, just south of the Ontario Science Center.
Things to bring:
- Water
- Survival bars/snacks
- The most comfortable footwear available
- Backpack: Most bug-out bags filled with gear range from 20-40lbs, depending on the amount of food/water. 60lbs for military ruck sacks, most of it being steel and lead So fill your backpack up with whatever you need and weigh it down to simulate the real deal.
