World War II V-E Day Commemoration Ceremony

Help us pay tribute to Second World War veterans on Monday, May 9th at 12:30PM in Nathan Phillips Square outside Toronto City Hall as we commemorate the anniversary V-E Day and Victory Day. V-E Day, May 8. 1945, and Victory Day, May 9, 1945 mark the Allies formal acceptance of Nazi Germany’s unconditional surrender of its armed forces.

The event is being held with the support of:

The City of Toronto, Jewish War Veterans of Canada, The Office of Strategic Services (OSS) Society, 29th Division Association HQ Post 29, 8th Air Force Historical Society-9th Strategic Reconnaissance Squadron Wing and Canadian Association of the World War II Veterans from the Soviet Union.
