Join us at the 4th annual WINTER FOLK FAIR

at St. Vladimir Institute

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2016 11am - 6pm

Winter Folk Fair is a full day event and community gathering featuring artisans, vendors, musicians and singers who have come together to share the holiday spirit!

Come stock up on goodies for the holidays and check out beautiful wares made by folks in your community.

PROGRAMMING / WORKSHOPS / PERFORMANCES

1 PM - "Sing for Joy: Community Singing in the Oral Tradition" with Mila Redwood

2 - 3 PM - ERA Chorna and Alex Severinets: "Gypsy Soul" - european music hits from Gypsy to Ukrainian.

3 - 4 PM - "Lialka Motanka" Reeled Doll Workshop. Participants can make their very own "lialka motanka", the traditional Ukrainian doll made of fabric and thread. In the workshop they'll learn about this ancient practice, and make a special little doll for protection and wellbeing. All ages. $5.

4 - 5 PM - "Folk Tales from Around the World" Short Film Program organized by Wesley Blondin

5 - 5:30 PM - Royce Rich - classical violin pieces with a folky spirit

5:30 - 6 PM - Andrea Kuzmich with jazzy Christmas tunes
