Kicking of the 70's Month at the Linsmore Tavern is a band that is making it's first appearance at the Linsmore Tavern, Whiskey Rose who will be playing the music of 70's Rock Band Thin Lizzy! Whiskey Rose features some of the GTA's best musicians who will perform the music of Hard Rock Bands from the 1970's and 1980's! On Saturday March 7th, Whiskey Rose will perform at the Linsmore Tavern note for note, the music of Irish Rock Icons Thin Lizzy!!!

Formed in Dublin in 1969, Thin Lizzy went on to become one of Irelands most successful rock bands and had many hit songs during the 1970's. Featuring Singer/Bassist Phil Lynott, Thin Lizzy became one of the most respected and influential Rock Bands in the world! During the 1970's, Thin Lizzy had many hit songs including "Whiskey In The Jar", "Jailbreak", and "The Boys Are Back In Town". Well after Phil Lynott's death in 1986 and after many different line-up changes, you can still find Thin Lizzy out touring and playing the incredible songs that they have written over the years. Their music, as well as their influence is still very strong and Whiskey Rose on March 7th will definitely do justice to Thin Lizzy's incredible music!!!

This is going to be a real special show at the Linsmore Tavern and it is definitely is dedicated to all of the Irish who grew up listening to the music of Thin Lizzy.
