"Urban Land" Opening night: an artistic portrayal of Toronto's urban experience

Toronto’s urban playground is made up of more than 1,600 public parks,200 city-owned public art works and historic monuments, and home to a brash mix of periods and styles. Discover the city’s diverse landscape with URBAN LAND a special art exhibit and free opening reception on Wednesday, August 5th from 7-11p.m. at the Steam Whistle Brewing Gallery (255 Bremner Blvd, Toronto).

In its architecture, art and culture, Toronto pulls influence from the wide array of its population. URBAN LAND brings together six artists through the use of raw materials and diverse styles to express multifaceted perspectives on the urban experience. Each artist will share their own intuitive and unique approach to defining urban space.

Opening reception: Wednesday August 5, 2015 7-11pm

Length of exhibit: August 1st to 30th (during the brewery’s regular opening hours)
