Urban Goose Chase is a community art project designed to encourage its audience to roam the streets of Toronto in search of an original work of art - a work which they are able to keep. A complex series of clues has been constructed for participants to work through, either jointly or individually, which, if deciphered correctly, will point them in the direction of the "golden goose". Hunters are allowed to cheat, double-cross and whitewash clues at will, but the artist and a team of enforcers will do their best to ensure true clues are still operational. The hunt is accessible to all - the only physical restraint being the necessity of good problem-solving skills.
