UNKNOWN SOLDIER – A STAGED READING

A Staged Reading of Unknown Soldier by Jonathan Seinen. Performed by Jeff Ho. A soldier’s exposure of violence and corruption fuel a drama about personal integrity and freedom. Inspired by the actions of Chelsea (formerly Bradley) Manning. FREE.

Jonathan Seinen is a playwright, director, actor and theatre creator, Artistic Associate with lemonTree creations and Co-Artistic Producer of Architect Theatre. Acting credits include the Dora Award Nominated A God In Need Of Help (Tarragon Theatre) and The Normal Heart (Studio 180/Buddies), and most recently Jonathan directed Stencilboy and Other Portraits for Paradigm Productions at the Next Stage Festival. Jonathan will direct the premiere production of Unknown Soldier at this year's SummerWorks Festival in August.

Jeff Ho is a Toronto based actor/writer/pianist. Select Theatre Credits: TEASE (Crow's Theatre Crawl) Beyond Body Politic (Rhubarb 2014), Murderers Confess at Christmastime (SummerWorks 2013), Taming of the Shrew (Repercussion Theatre). Other: Orphan Black (BBC America). He is a graduate of the NTS and recipient of the 2013 Theatre Centre Emerging Artist Award.
