Sure The Wicks are a folk band if you want to wrap them up into a nice little package and define their sound. But there are definite and somewhat surprising elements of psych in here and a soulful vocal that will stick to your ribs and not let go.

Stegall prides themselves on believing in soul, groove and noise and the result is a sound that is at their heaviest soulful riffy indie-rock and at other times more on the electro-pop side of the world. One of my favourite bands introduced to me from this years' festival.

Slight change to the lineup see's the fantastic Boston based act Oh Malo bringing their alternative-indie-rock with shades of grunge, pop and even some math to the table. One of my favourite bands on the long list of CMW bands. Come hear for yourself!

Closing out the night are Kingston Ontario's Lost Cousins. Like DB Cooper this band has a polished sound that is making waves fast for them. What I really like about Lost Cousins is their clear understanding of tempo and song structure that makes their songs a really powerful listening/watching experience.
