August 24th, join us at the Garrison for a concert featuring The Famly, Ready The Prince, Damnit Goldie and Adam HG. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to both Earth Refugee (https://www.facebook.com/EarthRefugee/), an initiative working to transition refugees and asylum seekers in Greece from passive recipients of humanitarian aid to productive members of civil society, and our local heroes at the Together Project (https://www.facebook.com/TogetherProjectToronto/), an initiative of Tides Canada that connects newly-arrived Government-Assisted Refugees (GAR) with volunteer “Welcome Groups” to help them navigate the often difficult resettlement process.

The Toronto Together: Refugee Benefit Concert is being created in response to Liz Harripaul's trip to Athens to work as a support person for Earth Refugee at Skaramagas Camp.

It's sure to be a fun night - come for the causes, stay for the tunes!
