Toronto Spring Convergence
WHEN:
On April 25th and 26th, 2015
WHAT IS HAPPENING
Hundreds of gardeners of all ages and levels will join forces to compete in Torontos first Grow Challenge at the Toronto Spring Convergence TSC.
WHERE
The competition will be hosted at Ryerson University as a headquarters and in green spaces throughout the city such as: front and back yards, alleyways balconies, parks, businesses, farms, fields and so forth and promises to deliver edible food gardens for public use. No green spaces will be turned away!
REGISTER YOUR TEAMS!!
In the field, grow teams and grow crews will work over the 2 days to completely build food gardens or add to existing ones. Teams will compete together to see who finishes first in the TSC Grow Off Challenge. The first team to complete their installation and head back to headquarters to ring the bell will be the winner!
Competitiveness aside, this grow off challenge, is as much about adding accessible edible green spaces and working on practical and sustainable solutions for healthy communities, as it is about winning the race.
WHAT OTHER FUN THINGS TO EXPECT
In addition to growing food and building gardens, attendees will be able to participate in activities that include: a large seed swap seed ball making art and murals making design training and practical training for gardeners in the GTA. Organic breakfast and lunch will also be provided throughout the weekend by Seeds to Earth.

Spring, May Day, International Permaculture Day and other exciting energies are with us as we work in our communities greening, casting seeds, and spreading sustainability.
