Next time at Toons, we will be celebrating the successful Kickstarter campaign by Samantha Youssef of Studio Technique. Samantha has surpassed her goal to launch her figure drawing instructional book 'Movement and Form'.

On Wednesday, April 15th, Samantha will be joining us for a semi-instructed drawing session. She will do live drawing demonstration as well as offer individual suggestions and critiques. Feeling shy? Don't worry- there will be plenty of time to draw the model Gracie as she poses as Miss Piggy!

Wacky actress Gracie Klutz will be modelling for the night. Gracie will be putting on her pearls and piggy nose as the glamorous muppet Miss Piggy.

Our mission is to get you to draw more.

We hire models from a variety of backgrounds, from animation life modelling to acting to breakdance and everything in between. Our models pose fully costumed and give a variety of quick poses - in character! Each session is all ages appropriate and we welcome young artists to come out to draw.

All drawing supplies are welcome, but sketchbooks work best.

Sessions are held the second and fourth Wednesdays every month at ROUND venue, Toronto.

Every session ends with an art contest. Just share your sketches for a chance to win a prize.
