The popular Indie rock band Tokyo Police Club, from Newmarket, Ontario, will once again perform at the CNE. The four friends: Greg Alsop drums, percussion; Josh Hook guitar, percussion; Dave Monks vocals, bass and Graham Wright keyboards; vocals started to play together in their high school senior year.

Ten years later and a lot has changed for Tokyo Police Club. After their album Champ, the group felt like they needed more to rise to the next level while continuing to relate to their fans. They decided to take their time creating their next album, Forcefield. The tracks on the album sound like the Tokyo Police Club that we have all grown to love but send the band a little higher into the rafters. It is a watertight sound that only a band of best friends could make by giving it their all and wrapping themselves up in a force field.

Tokyo Police Club is sure to light up the Bandshell when they perform hits from their newest album Forcefield and classic hits from their other successful albums Champ, Elephant Shell and A Lesson in Crime.
