T.O. Webfest is a weekend festival, May 23 - 24th at the Bloor Hot Docs Cinema, celebrating web content production from Canada and around the world. Our industry day conference panels on Saturday, explore new trends in digital content and consumption, sustainable models built by digital content companies as well as new tech in narratives from 360 cameras to drones. Our creator focused panels on Sunday look at incubators, accelerators and resources for independent creators, as well as animation for the web. Each day also has workshops covering VFX on a budget, audience outreach, crowdfunding, and new tools for digital producers. We also feature several screening blocks showcasing episodes of our 53 officially selected webseries, which are free for all audiences to attend. Admission to the awards ceremony on the evening of May 23 is included with the purchase of a Weekend Pass, or Saturday Pass.
