‘Three’ at Autumn

Autumn Toronto Gallery would like to cordially invite you to ‘Three’, a visual showcase by three highly sought-after painters, each under the age of 20, who are quickly gaining recognition for their remarkable technical skill and creative vision. The works comprising ‘Three’ will explore life as a temporally distorted experience influenced by memory, emotion, perception, bias and belief.

Ethan Tennier-Stuart

Ethan Tennier-Stuart is a multi-disciplinary artist and graphic designer, primarily working in acrylic. Tennier-Stuart engages multiple formal elements in his work and seeks to emphasize the discursive frictions between content and form. He was recently named Art Director of FIENDS, a creative company based out of NYC and has begun working with J. Cole’s Dreamville Records on brand development and design.Tennier-Stuart’s past clientele include fashion designers, stores and design companies and he currently has multiple undisclosed projects with well-known names in the creative industry that will be announced soon. He is also currently pursuing his B.A. in Digital Futures at OCAD U.

Nadiya Svirsky

Nadiya Svirsky is a visual artist whose work is aimed at exploring her own life experiences and reactions to those experiences, primarily through painting, drawing, installation and multimedia projects. Her work focuses on the personal dynamics that exist within the space of internal reflection, which shape the individual’s experiences of the world outside of themselves. She is currently enrolled in first year courses at OCAD, however she is taking time off from her studies to pursue professional engagements.

Nigel Westgate

Nigel Westgate is a Toronto-based artist who works primarily using acrylic and oil paint. Nigel focuses on landscape and figurative work, employing these in subjects in narrative based works. His work also explores the disparity between the physical and the spiritual. Nigel Westgate is currently studying Painting and Drawing at OCADU.
