Theyre back and with them they bring the dawn of a new era. Torontos finest purveyors of solid soul, rare groove and deep funk are The Soul Motivators. When these eight brothers and one soul sista - last played their hometown in November 2014 they sold out The Horseshoe Tavern for the second time that year. The Motivational sound was heard on award-winning documentaries and CBC Radio, among other stations, kept the faith alive.

Such demand has hastened their return to a bigger headline show. Join them at Lees Palace in celebration of their 3rd anniversary. Their signing to Do Right! Music is complete and the debut album is mixed, mastered and ready to drop later in the year.

In the meantime, theyre ready to give praise, love and energy back to Toronto - the almighty congregation that helps keep the band energized and revitalized.

Joining them at this special show is raw, beat junky collective, Grand Analog. Their beautiful mess of live rap nroll, dub and soul will set the perfect temperature on the dancefloor.

To warm up the evening The Out of Towners will lay down their signature sound and on deck spinning throughout the night is Do Rights main man, John Kong.
