The Shortest Day showcases a funny and family-friendly mix of short films by Canada’s most talented filmmakers during the holiday season, leading up to the winter solstice on the shortest day of the year.

The best part is, it’s for FREE and now runs from December 19 - 21 to allow more people to get in on the fun. It’s a great opportunity for friends and relatives to spend time together, enjoying great movies, while folks are off work during the holidays. The event features 27 shorts organized into three thematic programs: COMEDY (age 13+, 99 minutes), FAMILY (age 7-77, 88 minutes) and KIDS (under age 8, 56 minutes).

This event is being celebrated nationwide, in over 60 venues, and globally in over 50 countries.
