Natalie Romano, Edward Nixon, Asher Mercer and Tatiana Jaunzems from En Consulting Group and UrbanID will be intervening various parking spaces at the corner of Queen St. West and Soho. In these parking spaces WE will park ourselves with hammocks, back yard patio furniture, and Games inviting strangers to have interesting and playful conversations and experiences with us. The purpose is to engage and activate Queen Street as a public defining space. The People's Queen envisions the street as something more meaningful than a mere space to consume and get from A to B.
