The Past is Never Far: A Photographic Exploration of Toronto's Past and Present

The Past is Never Far is a photographic series by local artist Summer Leigh, which explores the work of our founder's wife, Elizabeth Simcoe, and William James Sr., a prolific Toronto photographer who shot near the beginning of the twentieth century. The series is being exhibited at the beautiful Papermill Gallery at the historic Todmorden Mills Heritage Site from today, July 3rd until July 17th. Admission to the gallery is free.
