The Music Gallery Presents: Iskw Ryan Somerville
Where classical meets electronic!
Through the generous support of the Ontario Arts Council - Conseil des arts de l'Ontario, we bring to you a night of classically re-worked music and the blending of styles from indigenous irish artist, iskw and brilliant composer, Ryan Somerville.
The night will feature sounds from an array of musical backgrounds, including some of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra favourites, traditional native drumming/singing, an emerging indigenous choral group, one of Toronto's greatest keys players, and the techniques of live sound processing...a delicious blend of musicians from different musical, geographical and cultural backgrounds, creating a unique live performance, and finding a balance of the classical and electronic musical arts.
