We're celebrating the release of Rel McCoy's new album Gas Money. The Canadian hip-hop veteran's career spans several disciplines, from producing and rapping alongside Shad to mixing and mastering engineering out of his studio The Reservoir in Brampton. He recently ran a Kickstarter campaign that raised over $11,000 towards the creation, promotion and distribution of Gas Money, had his latest video - a collaboration with west coast staple Moka Only - premiered on Noisey, and released a recent string of routines with frequent collaborator Fresh Kils on the MPC. As a special for The Hustle, attendees can purchase Gas Money exclusively before it drops on May 27th and for half the price - only $5.

He'll be joined on stage by young bucks Gene One, who recently released his Genesis Vol. 1 mixtape, and YHW (Young Heavy Weights, consisting of Scarborough emcees Ikeno, NorthEnglish and Dez), who dropped their debut EP Ratchet Punch earlier this year. The soundtrack for the night will be provided by DJ Lancecape of the renowned Monolith crew, pioneers in many ways on the Toronto hip-hop scene. The show will be hosted by yours truly, Crossword.
