Earlier this year, The Dylan Tree played to a full house and received some rave reviews for the show they put on! With all of the requests coming in for them, we have finally been able to bring back The Dylan Tree to play another night of the amazing music of Bob Dylan!

In the fall of 2007; the Dylan Tree formed, featuring five known and respected Canadian musicians with extensive touring and recording experience to their credit, and a mutual passion for the words and music of Bob Dylan, as do so many other recording artists

They quickly gained a following from their appearances, in and around the Toronto area at profile venues including; Hughes Room, Jeff Healy’s Road House, the Canadian National Exhibition and appearances on Toronto radio and television.

"The Dylan Tree "is comprised of five accomplished Toronto musicians, with over 100 years of on-stage experience amongst them. Members of "The Dylan Tree" have played with a wide variety of well known artists such as; The Blushing Brides, Bo Didley, Classic Albums Live, Goddo, The Jitters, The Grand Ole Opry and many more."The Dylan Tree" pays tribute to the music of Bob Dylan - peforming traditional versions of Bob's best known tunes and popular covers such as "The Byrd's" Mr. Tambourine man and "Jimi Hendrex's " All Along the Watchtower. "The Dylan Tree" also plays original arrangements with all five members singing both lead and back-up vocals.

In early 2009, All Access Productions produced the band’s electronic press kit; [E.P.K.] marking the beginning of the Dylan Tree theatre shows, which in turn led to the filming of their concert at the Markham Theatre, where The Dylan Tree and All Access Productions donated the ticket sale proceeds from this concert to the SickKids Hospital Foundation in Toronto.

The two hour concert was edited down to fit the format for a one hour television broadcast which aired twice in 2009, with impressive ratings. The Dylan Tree was invited to perform at both, the Windsor and London Blues Festivals in key performance slots that year after promoter, Ted Boomer attended a media night in Toronto, where he was very impressed by their performance and was quoted as saying; the easiest way to describe the Dylan Tree is; if the Eagles were to perform the music of Dylan, that’s what you get with the Dylan Tree...
