Storytelling: Le Glacier

Marc Laberge travels around the world. His tragic tales, life narratives or adventures inspired by Jules Verne captivate all ages around the globe.

The true story of Le Glacier tells how a man and his dog manage to escape a grisly end during a windy and rainy snowstorm, on a glacier with impassable crevasses.

Inspired by John Muir’s life, these adventure stories narrated by Marc Laberge take place in large wilderness mountains of the American West. By telling the highlights of this great American naturalist’s life, the author allows us to understand his philosophy, his vision of the universe. This unusual American has spent his life watching his environment, internalizing it and translating into words the then noticeable feelings.

Marc Laberge is a photographer, an adventurer and a storyteller. Wandering through the mountains, deserts, glaciers, he travels long distances on foot ... in the footsteps of John Muir. The adventure stories gathered in Le Glacier present the fruit of his thoughts on what drives people to always climb higher and risk their lives!
