In an era of 3d printing and complex digital fabrication, a rustic corrugated metal box known as a shipping container is an uncanny source of inspiration. By manipulating these life-size lego pieces in the heart of Trinity Bellwoods Park, STAC'D explores how container architecture could be a playground for artists in the public realm. The multi-container installation will feature a line-up of DJs and street artists transforming the containers over the course of the weekend, providing curated indoor and outdoor spaces for people to chill, catch some tunes and soak in the creativity.
