St. Lawrence Quartet

The St. Lawrence Quartet is unique – spirited, eclectic, skilled. For this Music TORONTO concert they play Haydn and John Adams – the great originator of the string quartet form and one of the United States’ greatest living composers. First violinist Geoff Nuttall explains it all for us with Haydn’s Joke quartet. Yes, there are jokes in classical music. The Boston Globe said the SLSQ sows an irresistible exuberance in performances, and links that sense of joy with artistry of subtlety and finesse. Tickets $55, $50; Students $10; age 18 to 35 - pay your age.
