Speakeasy Reading Series: New Year's Resolution

New Year, new readers. Did you resolve to go to more readings in 2015? Well, welcome back to our reading series for 2015! Get through these frigid days with some amazing writing.

CATHERINE BUSH is the author of four novels, including Accusation, one of NOW magazines 2013 Best Ten Books of the Year, an Amazon.ca Best Book of 2013, and a Canada Reads Top 40 pick, among other accolades. Her third novel, Claires Head, was shortlisted for Ontarios Trillium Award and was a Globe Best Book of the Year. Her nonfiction has been published in publications including The Globe & Mail, The New York Times Magazine, and the anthology The Heart Does Break. She lives in Toronto and is Coordinator of the University of Guelph Creative Writing MFA.

LIZ HOWARD was born and raised in Northern Ontario and is currently a poet and cognition research officer in Toronto. She is co-curator of the feminist reading series AvantGarden and graduate of the MFA program in Creative Writing from Guelph University. Her first full-length collection, Infinite Citizen of the Shaking Tent, is forthcoming from McClelland & Stewart in April 2015.

JULES LEWIS is the author of the novel Waiting for Ricky Tantrum and the play Tomasso's Party.
