Hosted by Hamilton-based singer-songwriter Gillian Nicola, this is the 16th edition of The Painted Lady’s monthly Singers in the Round series.

Singers (in addition to Nicola) include Caren (a.k.a. Sharon Nutzati), who has a new self-titled EP; Sarah Hiltz, with a new single “Without You,” and Evan James Redsky who released an EP, Dog Daze, last February.

Singers in the Round follows a common style of performance at folk festivals, acoustic music conventions and kitchen parties everywhere. Four singers on stage together, at various stages of their careers, sharing not only their songs, but the stories behind them.

The music’s stripped back to allow listeners to really experience the songs in an intimate, warm-hearted setting, with the performers frequently providing backup for each other.
