Social Media Week is returning to Toronto after a three year hiatus through a new independent cities program, SMWi. SMWi Toronto (June 6-9) brings together thought leaders and experts at the intersection of marketing, media and technology. Unfolding over three days beginning June 6, SMWi Toronto (#SMWiTO) runs concurrently with Social Media Week events in cities around the world such as Los Angeles, Mexico City, Milan, Bangalore and San Francisco. The event kicks off with a day of keynotes and special presentations at TIFF Bell Lightbox followed by two days of sessions running at BrightLane and BrainStation, two up-and-coming digital hubs located in Toronto’s King West neighbourhood. Headlining the keynotes include Digital Media Expert Jesse Brown, Trend Hunter’s Shelby Walsh and a one-on-one interview with social media sensation Councillor Norm Kelly.
