Small Print TO's TOTSAPALOOZA 8

Small Print Toronto proudly announces its 8th Annual TOTSAPALOOZA Festival of picture books, indie bands and D.I.Y. crafts. Book lovers aged 2-8 can explore this year’s theme, “draw me a story,” on all three floors of Toronto’s historic Revival nightclub.

Don’t miss this year’s all-star literary line-up:

- Neil Pasricha, author of the international bestseller The Book of Awesome and, more recently, the picture book Awesome Is Everywhere.

- Author Heather Mattick’s much-lauded Finding Winnie: The True Story of Winnie-the-Pooh.

- Governor General award-winning artist Cybẻle Young’s presentation of her stunning new book Some Things I’ve Lost, featuring her original paper art.

- A special sneak preview of celebrated creator-CBC Broadcaster Kevin Sylvester’s latest picture book Super Duper Monster Viewer, which comes out in April, 2016.

Acclaimed Craft Artisan Kalpna Patel (perhaps best known for her traffic-stopping window displays at TYPE Books on Queen St West) will design D.I.Y. crafts for kids inspired by the books in this year’s line-up.

Kids can groove to performances by indie-roots rock trio Bellwoods Trinity. Choreographer Ann-Marie Williams of Movement Lab will show us how to ‘Dance A `Story.’ And DJ Matt Blackett of Spacing Magazine will keep the party hopping.

Books will be available for purchase at the event.

TOTSAPALOOZA sells out every year. Avoid disappointment. Get your tickets early at: www.smallprinttoronto.org

Small Print Toronto gratefully acknowledges the generous support of the Ontario Arts Council.
