SIZZLE AND SPIN by Sandra Cardinal
Now that millennial women have inherited a world of opportunity, hard-won by their boomer mothers, how will they cope with all that choice? The barriers are crumbling, but with change, comes uncertainty. In this shifting landscape young women pay dearly for corporate power and personal agency while young men find themselves lost and insecure, questioning their place in a culture where male privilege is eroding and traditional notions of maleness are challenged.
Recent graduates from business college, Charlotte and Ethan are rival candidates for a Public Relations job. Both are well-suited for different reasons. She is accomplished and earnest while he is self-assured and charismatic. As they try to navigate the maelstrom of workplace politics, gender roles and family influences, sparks fly in their rekindled former college romance.
