DAGMAR MORGAN is a slam poetry champion, The Champion of Champions, published poet, singer and arts educator and teacher. She uses spoken word as a healing mechanism in young people. She is currently collaborating on a book project with visual artist Pirkko Saari and is co-organizer of Shab-e She’r Poetry Series.  But mostly she is a good Irish girl who calls her father every Sunday, loves coffee more than any one girl should and knows a lot about Paris for someone who has never been there.

 

OSAZE DOLABAILLE is an administrator, teacher and performer born in Trinidad. He is the president of Baro Dununba, a music ensemble and philanthropic organization and teaches community drumming classes.  He has also performed as part of Muhtadi’s World Drummers, Quammie’s JUMP Collective and the New Dimension Steel Orchestra.  In 2007 he released his first book entitled, Rebirth of the Warrior Poet.  He participated in both the Caribbean Canadian Literary Expo and the Organization of Calypso Performing Artistes’ Calypso Tents Music Series as part of Caribana 2007.
