The debut feature by Colombian-born, Toronto-based filmmaker Lina Rodriguez focuses on Alejandra (María Serrano), who lives with her mother in Bogotá, Colombia, and spends most of her nights drinking and dancing with her close-knit circle of friends. Free-spirited and sexually independent, she floats through life with a heedless intensity, until a trip outside the city-and a seemingly innocuous game with her friends-brings her to the brink of a greater spiritual and sexual consciousness of herself.
