Canadian Friends of Tibet will be hosting a forum on the the TDSB / Confucius Institute's partnership and the negative impact it will have on our schools. I as a TDSB Trustee candidate will give a presentation on why this is wrong choice for the TDSB and our cherished democratic values.

What is the issue?

The totalitarian communist regime of China wants to set up shop right in our schools, glossing over Beijing's human rights abuse of Tibetans, The Falun Gong, Uyghurs to name a few. I'll vote against the Confucius Institute coming to the TDSB. But we also need to galvanize support across the city.
