Rockhouse T.O. rounds out another wild year with its first annual Rockabilly Christmas bash, bringing some holiday cheer to the heart of the Kensington Market. We'll be making rather merry at The Handlebar (159 Augusta Ave.) on Saturday, December 20th, with a lively bill of top rockin' acts, DJ, and dance lessons to ease you on to the dancefloor. Rockhouse T.O. favourites Tennessee Voodoo Coupe top the programme, bringing the spirit and sounds of Christmas past to life here and now, with their unruly mix of delinquent styles from traditional rockabilly, hillbilly, to jump blues and swing, spiked with a punk rock energy. Local hillbilly bop sensation Alistair Christl opens the show with a solo set, guaranteed to get the joint jumpin'! Rockhouse T.O. house DJ Rockin' Dave Faris spins festive vinyl throughout the evening, and Bees' Knees provide Rock 'n' Roll dance lessons. Come on out and raise a glass with Rockhouse T.O., one night only at The Handlebar!
