Come hear Myke Predko Founder and Chief Roboticist, Mimetics Digital Education, talk about Robotics for Education. Myke recently raised a seed round of financing to grow the Mimetics platform which includes the Jade Robot ROV and a visual programming platform to help students learn robotics fundamentals. Mimetics designs, develops and delivers curriculum to teach school-age children robotics programming fundamentals.

Myke will share his experiences as a robotics startup founder, raising seed funding for his startup, growing his organization, developing the Mimetics platform, and building tools for educators to teach robotics to school-age children.

Educators are especially encouraged to attend. The discussion will cover thoughts and experiences teaching robotics fundamentals, what works and what doesn’t and what platforms need to enable in order to give students skills for the jobs of tomorrow. Myke will demonstrate the Jade robot platform and share some of the features and tools that the Mimetics team has created to support classroom learning.
