Bring your rhythmical spirit, and your drums, percussion instruments and dancing feet to Alternative Thinking for a family-friendly drum circle. People of all ages and levels of musical and drumming expertise are welcome. You don't have to be a drummer to participate, or even own a drum - beginners are especially encouraged to attend.

NO MUSICAL OR DRUMMING EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED!

Drum circles are a fun & exciting way to connect with your friends, family, fellow community members & yourself through recreational music-making. Drum circles also create a supportive environment where everyone is encouraged to participate at their own level, without any pressure or judgment.

Join us to drum, dance or just enjoy the incredible spontaneous community drum circle music.

Beginner drummers are encouraged to attend a FREE workshop from 6:30 - 7 pm, and will be taught the basics on hand drumming and a few rhythms. AFRICAN DJEMBE HAND DRUMS ARE AVAILABLE FOR RENT $5 FOR THE ENTIRE EVENING.
