RHYME STEW CREW - Rap-Poetry for Kids Workshop

Small Print Toronto’s Rhyme Stew Crew - “Where Dr Seuss meets Dr Dre”

What do you get when you mix Dr Seuss with Dr Dre? A recipe for Rhyme Stew Crew - a rap-poetry workshop for writers 8-12, presented by Small Print Toronto on Saturday, April 25th, between 2-4pm, at Lillian Smith Library (239 College, at Spadina).

Noted poet Claire Caldwell will conduct the session. After setting a classic work of children’s verse, like Green Eggs and Ham, to old school hip-hop beats, Claire and the crew will create their own rhymes and make noisemakers out of recycled materials.

Thanks to the kindness of the Toronto Public Library, Small Print Toronto is offering this Rhyme Stew Crew workshop completely free-of-charge. But space is limited. Sign up early!
