Remembrance Day Ceremony & Reception

Every year at the Town Hall we honour all who have served in wars and peacekeeping missions for Canada, especially the 22 men from Swansea who gave their lives in WWI, for whom the Swansea Memorial Library was created. This year's ceremony will also give special tribute to the 100th anniversary of WWI. The service starts promptly at 10:45 am on our front outdoor piazza. Elected officials from all levels of government present, and will be joined by Toronto Fire Services, Toronto Police Services, Royal Canadian Legion and Toronto Public Library representatives. A reception follows inside in our main floor Rousseau Room. Everyone is welcome.
