Our inaugural event was such a ball, The Toronto Poetry Slam Team is back with another one!

Whether you're enraptured by love or in its throes, it's worth it for the poetry alone.

Share your love poetry with us on the open mic and bask/wallow in an evening of romance revisited.

We have two features for the evening:

The 2015 Toronto Poetry Slam Team!, winners of this year's SLAMtario Spoken Word Festival: that's Justin G., Kay Kassirer, Spin and Trevor Abes.

AND

The ever heartfelt, ever hilarious, Trick!

Trick is a 6'4, blonde Caucasian male who is indifferent about long walks on the beach. He's looking for an NSA relationship with slam poetry... in reality, Trick is a 5'9 ginger, small town kid turned city boy who first fell in love with spoken word 9 months ago. He's been writing about love, frustration and frustration that comes with love ever since.

7 pm: Doors.

7: 30 pm: Open mic sign-up.

8 pm: Show.

$10. All proceeds go toward flying the team to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to compete in the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word!
