Empowerment Intensive: Myths of Durga, Mother of Power

The Call:

I’m especially passionate about myths of Durga since they were the basis of my doctoral work and have played a powerful role in my own personal development. I was fascinated by the fact that Durga’s three-part story (in her central text, The Greatness of the Goddess) was framed by a conversation between a sage and king, that is, between a mentor and a hero to use the language of archetypes. This exchange became the topic of my dissertation. The king had lost his power, and the myths of Durga empowered him to regain his throne. They can do the same for you.

The Treasure:

This intensive coincides with the start of the Nine Nights Durga festival, the most auspicious time for connecting with this energy of empowerment. This annual harvest season juncture is ripe for tapping your potential, and awakening your power. This power can be directed to all areas of your life, pending your intention.
